“La RaNa’s performance poetry celebrates what it's to be Latina, and what it's to be human. Her words weave a tapestry of her history, her struggle, her hopes and self-determination into one Urban Vernacular. She’s a healer of lost souls.”- Bruce George, Co-Founder of Def Poetry Jam.

Find more info @ http://bordertheatre.org/ or on Facebook @ http://www.facebook.com/bordertheatre.
The Smash:
"The Smash is a trio, composed of guitar, drums and bass. Our names are not important, what matters is the rock and roll we play, which is hard and fast. We don't take long to set up and before you know it we're rocking the audience, often leaving crowds in stunned disbelief, because we play loudly but briefly. We believe in leaving people wanting more, especially in an age where popular music is too self indulgent and excessive. We like to leave an impression on people and of course hope to leave ears ringing well after the show is done. Hold on to your women, the Smash is coming your way."

One man Jazz:
You might have seen him blaze and amaze the crowd at First Friday's La Parada @ the San Carlos building, but if you were sleepin' and missed it, the picture of the crowd above should give you an idea of how dope of a DJ One Man Jazz really is. Art, being one of his greatest passions (another one would be travel), he has explored with different disciplines such as visual arts and theatre.
